Southwest.js May 2024 meetup

It’s May, it’s sunny & we’re back with another meetup!

We’ve teamed up with Nimble Approach to host this months edition in our very own Runway East building in the heart of Bristol (1 Victoria St, Redcliffe, Bristol, BS1 6AA).

We’ll be having three talks on the evening, one being an open discussion that everybody can get involved in (so come ready to get ask some questions & share your opinions!).

Nimble Approach have provided all of the speakers for the evening;

• Mark Sampson – Electron
• Rob Rosebury - Mindfulness, navigating through the stress
• Mark, Rob & Luke Chaplin - Functional vs OOP JavaScript (open discussion)

There will also be some refreshments to get stuck into on the night 😋 (provided by our sponsors Nimble Approach & Seccl).

Here is a quick rundown of what to expect on the night;

• Feel free to arrive from 6:30pm
• There will be refreshments available thanks to our sponsors. It's a great opportunity to meet some new people and do a bit of networking!
• Around 7pm, we'll do a quick welcome and will then begin the talks from the real specialists! (with time allotted afterwards for questions & discussions)
• The evening will draw to a close around 9pm, when some people will head over to the Left Handed Giant, should you want to continue the evening!

Our last event was absolutely awesome, so we’re excited to follow that up with another great event so soon afterwards!
