Capture the Moon (May)

Join me in a personal challenge to practice moon photography for the next six months! My goal is to post a photo op once a month when the moon is full (or nearly full) and at moonrise/sunset or moonset/sunrise. For May we'll meet at the Sunnyside Picnic Area of the Hyland Lake Park Reserve. Moonrise is 8:00 p.m. (sunset is at 8:31 p.m.). We will not have much of a view to the west, but should be able to see the moon rise to the east over Hyland Lake. I haven't tried this location before, so can't make any promises! There looks to be ample parking and a vault toilet near this picnic area. Bring a tripod, water, snacks, bug spray, and anything else you need to be comfortable.
