Annual Summer Hike and Picnic at Messenger Marsh

Let's celebrate summer with our annual picnic/hike at Messenger Marsh. Bring an outdoor dish/munchie/dessert to share, homemade or store-bought - doesn't have to be anything fancy. I'll provide lemonade and iced tea; if you want anything else to drink (non-alcoholic please) bring it. We can leave the food in the cars while we hike the easy loop trails first, one- to 3.5-mile options available. Feel free to come early or stay longer and hike further out-and-back on the adjacent Spring Creek Greenway trail.

The pavilion is right by the parking area, and there's a restroom. Please note: I have NOT obtained a permit for this since it's $70 and only required for groups of 25 or more, so it is not reserved for us. It's currently available and I don't expect that to change, but if it does I'll move this to one of the two pavilions at nearby Messenger Woods instead. If that happens I'll post it here and email attendees.
