Hike the I&M Canal Trail and Dellwood Park near downtown Lockport, IL

Details
The weather prognosticators say that it will be mostly sunny with temps in the high 70s to low 80s on Tuesday. This hike offers some shade which should be welcome with that temperature.
This hike provides a great combination of history and nature. We’ll hike south on the old I&M Canal towpath for about a mile then turn into Lockport’s Dellwood Park for nearly two miles around two loops before returning up the canal, about 4 miles in total. If anyone wants to do more they can continue up the canal path to the relocated historic homes, or down toward the Joliet Ironworks, or explore downtown Lockport.
Let's meet in the parking lot for the Illinois State Museum. The lot is adjacent to the museum, just north of it.
