Hike Country Lane Woods, 2.5 or 4.3 miles

The weather on Thursday afternoon morning is projected to be mostly sunny, dry and about 90 degrees at 4 PM, dropping to 85 by 6 PM. That's hot so let's stay in the shade.

This is yet another group favorite. Please note that we're starting from the Country Lane Woods parking lot, not the Little Red Schoolhouse. We'll take the tan trail down the old country lane to the yellow trail east and back up around the loop. We can then cut off back to the parking lot for around 2.5 miles or continue up and around a larger loop to add 1.8 more miles. This is a very nice, wide, mostly flat crushed limestone trail, mostly shaded by trees.

It will be hot, so bring water, a hat, and/or sunscreen, and perhaps some bug spray for possible ticks.
