Hike Country Lane Woods, 2.5 or 4.3 miles

The weather on Tuesday morning is projected to be mostly sunny with only a 12% chance of rain, and in the mid-80s. That's hot so let's stay in the shade.

This is yet another group favorite. Please note that we're starting from the Country Lane Woods parking lot, not the Little Red Schoolhouse.

We'll take the tan trail down the old country lane to the yellow trail east and back up around the loop. We can then cut off back to the parking lot for around 2.5 miles or continue up and around a larger loop to add 1.8 more miles.

This is a very nice, wide, mostly flat crushed limestone trail, mostly shaded by trees. There are apt to be a few muddy patches due to the recent rain, but overall it should be dry.

It will be hot, so bring water, perhaps a hat, and/or sunscreen & bug spray for possible ticks.
