Hike at Horsetail Lake on Thursday - 80 minutes

The weather is predicted to be 51 degrees and cloudy on Thursday with only a 1% chance of rain. Because we want to avoid having our cars locked up overnight, we'll walk out 40 minutes and back in 40 minutes so that we wrap it up at 4:25, a few minutes before sunset.

We'll start at Horsetail Lake, heading east on the green trail, then west on the yellow trail, and finally south on the brown trail. We'll go as far as we can in 40 minutes.

This is a scenic hike with a few small hills, always a crowd pleaser.

The Horsetail Lake Parking lot is just north of 123rd St, aka McCarthy Rd, on 104th Ave, aka Willow Springs Rd. It is on the east side of 104th.
