Sag Valley Hike from Horsetail Lake - 4, 5, or 8+ miles
Details
We'll start at Horsetail Lake and then head east on the Yellow trail. After that there are many options, my preference is to continue to the purple trail, then back west on the yellow and UP the stairs and back, probably around 5 miles. But there are many options which I'll offer (if there are others willing to help lead) including cutting back down the stairs or doing the whole yellow loop (8+).
A great scenic hike with a couple manageable hills, always a crowd pleaser. You'll need to be able to walk up the 124 stairs at Swallow Cliff or take another route around.
Hike is weather=dependent; if it's especially slippery or muddy I'll offer an alternative or postpone.
