This group is for events in the Central Florida area relating to the International Space Apps Challenge, NASA's global hackathon. October 18-20, 2019 will be the 8th annual event.
What is Space Apps
NASA Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, engineers, makers, and space enthusiasts around the world, where teams engage with NASA’svast collection of open data to address real problems on Ea!hand in space.
Past events include Space Apps hackathons, boot camps and info sessions, Indie Galactic Space Jam, Yuri's Nights, and gatherings with the Global Space Apps winners. So far, events have been in Brevard County (i.e. near Kennedy Space Center), Orlando and Tampa, but this group isn't limited to just those areas.
