Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science Trails

Details
Behind the museum are the Johnnie Johnson Nature Trails that meander through three different ecosystems that are part of a 22-acre nature preserve. We will explore these trails looking for birds and other wildlife until 10 AM.
At 10 AM the Museum is open to the public and you are welcome to explore on your own. The museum boasts two wings of indoor exhibits. Through curation and display, visitors are invited to explore the unique history of Brevard County. From Ice Age fossils and life-sized replicas to what it was like to live in 1800’s Florida, then launch forward into the Space Age. There is something for everyone! The young kids love the Discovery Room, where they can climb into a rocket capsule for a simulated liftoff. Be sure to check out the fecNtrak train layout! The trains are accessible on the first Saturday of each month. Admission is FREE!
