This field trip will go around the property of the park. This includes paved paths, boardwalk, and grass. Some areas may be in full sun so be advised. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring insect repellent . The restrooms should be open but cannot be gaurenteed.

Mitchell Ellington Park
A 114-acre regional park features athletic fields bounded by wetlands on the north, and woods on the east and west, with two ponds in the center of the park. The park athletic fields include 6 soccer fields (3 lighted), 2 football fields (1 lighted), 4 lighted baseball fields, 2 lighted softball fields with 3 restroom / concessions buildings. Oher park amenities include 2 lighted tennis/pickleball courts, two large pavilions, playground, benches, and bicycle pedways offer park patrons an inviting recreational experience.
