Leroy Wright Recreation Area- Cocoa

Friday Nov 14 9:00 -11:00 a.m. "Birding Safari" to Leroy Wright and F Burton Smith
parks, Rt 520 about 4.5 miles west of I-95, Cocoa. Restrooms and plenty of parking
are available at both parks.

We will bird the oak trees around the entrance area and then do the boardwalk for a
variety of birds- anything is possible here. Then we'll continue to F Burton Smith park
and walk the driveway and parking area, the ponds, and maybe some of the trails
depending upon wet or dry conditions for a total of about 1 mile walking.
Jim Meyer and Eileen Riccio will lead; bring a lunch if you like to join us at the
pavillion afterward !
