How to Participate: Anyone, anywhere can participate by birding and submitting checklists via the eBird Mobile app or eBird website.
Purpose: To celebrate birds, engage in community science, and collect data that informs scientific understanding of bird migration and population trends.
Goal: To document as many bird species and collect as many, or more, checklists than the previous year.
Activities: The event encourages birding alone or in teams, with special focus on community science and spotting migratory birds.
