Meet at Access Point #1 - Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park at 9 am on Saturday March 11, 2023. Address: 3501 Old Kings Road, Flagler Beach FL 32136. There is a $4 self-pay entrance fee - bring the correct change. We will unload. At least one person will stay with the boats. The rest of us will drive ALL of the cars to Access Point #3: Smith Creek Landing in North Peninsula State Park. Leave most of the cars and car-pool back to Access Point #1. The address for this is: North Peninsula State Park, 40 High Bridge Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32176

Paddle 6.5 miles. This is downstream, but there is not much of a current. There should be white pelicans to see near the end of the paddle. There is no shade on this trip. It will be in the salt marshes.

The 400 year old Fairchild Oak is in Bulow Creek State Park - just one mile south of Walter Boardman Lane off Old Dixie Highway. You might want to stop to look at it after the paddle.
