We will be travelling West this time to paddle the Middle Section - Paddling Trail of the Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Preserve. We will meet at 9:30 am at John B Sargeant Sr Park, 12702 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. We will unload boats and then start the car shuttle at 9:45 am to Wilderness Park Trout Creek Site --> Trout Crk Pk, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. This is the Saturday of Easter weekend for your planning purposes.

The middle section from Sargeant Park to Morris Bridge to Trout Creek Park, about 7.5 miles, is a popular section of river, with easy to moderate paddling - a few pullovers may be encountered depending on water level. Excellent for wildlife viewing. Tree canopy provides shade. Only one parking fee is needed for these three parks,
the others have separate fees.
