Search for Bioluminescence....

The Bioluminescence has been incredible this season! It should be the perfect time to witness this amazing natural phenomenon caused by an algae bloom of plankton. We are so lucky to be one of the few places on earth this exists! If we find some, the water will glow when your paddle breaks through it! It's best to see around a new moon when the night is darkest. We are going during the week to avoid some of the large commercial groups. Meeting in Grass area at beginning of Parrish Park in Titusville.

Bug Spray recommended along with headlight with red mode. PFD (life jacket) and Whistle required. PFD must be worn, or please stay home. 6” Green or Red Glow stick worn on the top back of your PFD. These are available from Hardware stores and Amazon. I have a few spares for $2 ea. DM me to make sure I have enough.

Assemble at 7PM, Paddles wet @7:30PM, 9:10PM Dark, paddle until ~10:30. I have a Orange Cobra Kayak with a Marker Flag / light. Paddling at night is not recommended for first time Paddlers!
