Econ River from the 419 Bridge to Snow Hill Road

Float Plan for Econ River - Saturday October 18, 2025
Meet at 8:30 am at the Little Big Econ Canoe Launch at Hwy 419 Bridge: 3801 Willingham Rd, Oviedo FL 32766.
There is a bit of a trek to the river from the parking spots, so please bring your wheels (if you have them) and we will help each other carry the boats down.
We will unload the boats and shuttle all of the cars to the Snow Hill Road Bridge, County Road 13, Oviedo, FL. Drive a few cars back to the launch point. Yvette will watch the boats while we do the shuttle.
Paddle downstream. It will take about 3.5 hours to paddle with a few stops. There are no traditional restrooms at either end.- FYI
We will see lots of gators. While there are no regulations to prevent you from bringing an inflatable, I would not advise it.
Bring a life jacket for each person (and wear it), a whistle for each boat, plenty of water, hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. I will bring the first aid kit, but let's try not to use it.
