Trying a new Location for Bio! There have been many reports of incredible Bioluminescence out of Kelley Park East on Merritt Island. The route will take us under 528 and North Past the Barge canal. It should be the perfect time to witness this amazing natural phenomenon caused by an algae bloom of plankton. We are so lucky to be one of the few places on earth this exists! If we find some, the water will glow when your paddle breaks through it!

Bug Spray recommended along with headlight with red mode. PFD (life jacket) and Whistle required. PFD must be worn, or please stay home. 6” Green or Red Glow stick worn on the top back of your PFD. These are available from Hardware stores and Amazon.
Assemble at 8PM, Paddles wet @8:30PM, 9:22PM Dark, paddle until ~11:00. Paddling at night is not recommended for first time Paddlers! Please respect the Paid tour groups by parking and launching away from them.
