One-Shot Initiative: Hero Kids, Basement O' Rats

Do your little adventurers want to try some tabletop roleplaying games? Here's your chance! The Space Coast Adventurer's Guild will be running an introductory one-shot of the game Hero Kids at Get Your Fun On!

Pregenerated characters will be provided.

Parents are welcome to join/supervise!!

It is $2/per player to play at GYFO.

ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
"You all live in Rivenshore, a small village nestled in a tight valley beneath towering mountains. A river runs past the village and flows south to a distant bay. Rivenshore would be a beautiful place to live, if it weren’t plagued by endless perils."

This session will run through the introduction module included in the ruleset: Basement O' Rats. The hero kids start the adventure having dinner at the tavern. When the tavern’s kitchen boy (Roger) is carried off by giant rats, the kids set off to rescue him.

ABOUT THE SYSTEM
Hero Kids is a ENnie award-winning fantasy RPG for kids aged from 4 to 10. This game offers a fast and fun introduction to RPGs, perfect for younger kids who are just getting interested in role-playing games.

Hero Kids has a simple combat and adventuring system which avoids the complex math of full-blown systems. Hero Kids' opposed dice pool system also keeps the players involved in the game even when it's not their turn.

The combat and adventuring mechanics in Hero Kids are based on six-sided dice, so you don't need to find any unusual dice to play!
