Blades in the Dark is a tabletop role-playing game about a crew of daring scoundrels building their criminal enterprise in the haunted, industrial city of Duskwall. Think of it like a dark, supernatural Ocean's Eleven or Peaky Blinders, but with ghosts and ancient horrors. You'll plan and execute dangerous heists, gather illicit resources, and navigate the treacherous underworld, all while fending off rival gangs, corrupt city watch, and vengeful spirits. The game uses a unique "flashback" mechanic to streamline planning, focusing on the thrilling action and inevitable consequences of your daring scores. It's a game about dark ambition, risky choices, and carving out your legacy in a city that's trying to consume itself.
