If you would like to dress as an old lady you are more than welcome to!

This is a West Marches game:
West March campaigns are “drop in” campaigns. Every session is a one shot that is very loosely connecting to one another (like being members of a monster hunter’s guild and sent out to slay X monster for one session and Y monster on another session). It’s meant for people who can play D&D every so often rather than guarantee to be able to stick to a set schedule. People can come and go as needed, but you will need to RSVP for any/all games you wish to play in separately.

**This is the perfect game for people unable to commit to a regular scheduled game, perfect for first time players, and perfect for people looking for a random session.**

2 seats in every guild one-shot are reserved for the monthly supporter lottery. You may see players in a game's attendee list before guild-wide RSVPs open.

Please scroll all the way down for any and all information, including age restrictions, what kind of experience is needed (if any), what to bring, content warnings, and more!

PRICING

  • It is $10/per player to play this game at Groundswell Startups.
  • It is $8/per player if you are a paid monthly supporter of the Guild (via our Ko-Fi or Patreon).

ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
The most popular television program in the world, The Jolly Good Baking Show, has come to Brindlewood Bay to find the town’s very best baker. A number of qualifying rounds have been held, and our Murder Mavens are among the bakers to make it through to the final, televised portion of the show, where they will meet the charming presenters and have their confec tions judged by the notoriously strict Paul and Jane. However, things take a darker sugary turn when one of the judges turns up dead...

ABOUT THE SYSTEM
Brindlewood Bay is a tabletop roleplaying game that combines Murder, She Wrote with H.P. Lovecraft. In it, you play a group of elderly women, members of the local Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club, who help the authorities solve murder cases in a picturesque New England Town. Over the course of their investigations, they become aware of a dark occult conspiracy that connects the cases, and will eventually have to face that conspiracy in order to save their community.
