GM Appreciation Day!
Details
March 4th is International DM/GM Appreciation Day, and we are celebrating our Guild Game Masters the following weekend — Sunday, March 8th — alongside our regular Community Day!
Game Masters are the backbone of tabletop role-playing games. They organize sessions, buy materials, write worlds, draw maps, create NPCs, and dedicate countless unseen hours to making our stories possible.
This event is dedicated to thanking them properly
What To Expect!
- Dedicated GM Room – A private space just for GMs to relax, eat, socialize, and talk shop
- Written Appreciation – Players are asked to submit words of thanks via a Google Form (Write your words of Appreciation here!!)
- You may submit appreciation for any Guild GM you played with between March 2025 – February 2026
- GM Potluck – We’re feeding and hydrating our beloved GMs!
- Guild GMs are encouraged to fill out a potluck spreadsheet with favorite foods & drinks (especially items they’ve enjoyed at past potlucks)
Food, Drinks, & GM Treats
- Potluck encouraged
- Alcohol is allowed
- Players are welcome to bring food, drinks, or small tokens of appreciation for their GMs
Community Day Still Happening!
This celebration takes place alongside our regular Community Day, which includes:
- Open board gaming
- Packing care packages for our unhoused neighbors in the nearby park
You can participate in Community Day and help us celebrate our GMs!
Time
- 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- GMs are welcome to arrive at any time during the event.
