What is Trash Bash?
- On April 11, 2026, Brevard County will participate in Trash Bash, the annual county-wide litter cleanup day. Trash Bash continues a tradition that has been sponsored nationally by Keep America Beautiful for over a half-century as the Great American Cleanup, encouraging efforts to clean roadways, waterways and parks.
- Participants will have the opportunity to earn volunteer hours and help with the mission to keep plastic and litter out of our vulnerable lagoon, ocean and other waterways.
What is provided?
- Volunteers need to wear closed-toe shoes and will be provided with gloves, bags, and other necessary cleanup materials. Safety guidelines will be followed throughout the event. Participants will work together to collect litter, debris, and other waste from designated areas.
- (Snacks and drink details are still TBD with Keep Brevard Beautiful)
Location
- Riverview Park is the location cleaning up around our dearly beloved Groundswell Startups!
- Please ensure your RSVP is accurate so we can give the numbers to Keep Brevard Beautiful for supplies
**Please bring your own water bottle and dress appropriately for weather.**
