For years, the Dread Lord Strahd von Zarovich has terrorized the land of Barovia - many have fought against him and many have failed. A few have even succeeded, for a time, letting the land rejoice for a generation before the Dread Lord returned more bitter and cruel than ever. This time, a group has assembled in hopes of killing him permanently.
