ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
Situated near the border of West Virginia, Westworth, Kentucky, is a small but prosperous town, known for its historical roots as a mining community founded in 1787. Life there is quiet: the college is thriving, the townsfolk are content, and the sheriff is preparing for a long awaited retirement. But peace doesn’t last.

When local sweetheart Carol Walters is found dead in the middle of the road, her body wounded in a way no one can explain, the illusion of a mundane town begins to falter.

You are federal agents, called in to assist the tight-knit community in solving an unexplainable murder. This case is different, however, as you know that monsters are real, and this isn’t your first time dealing with the unexplainable.

Whoever, or whatever, killed Carol Walters wasn't meant to be seen by man...

ABOUT THE SYSTEM
Monster of the Week
Most people don’t believe in monsters, but you know the truth. They’re real, and it’s your task to bring them down. Monster of the Week is a standalone action-horror RPG for 3-5 people. Hunt high school beasties a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer, travel the country to bring down unnatural creatures like the Supernatural Winchester brothers, or head up the government investigation like Mulder and Scully. Grab the fireplace poker and get your spell book. That monster’s going down!
