ABOUT THE SYSTEM
Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop role-playing game where players collaborate to tell a story, with one player acting as the Dungeon Master (DM) and the others controlling player characters (PCs). Players describe their actions, and the DM describes the world and its inhabitants, using rules to resolve uncertain outcomes. The game focuses on collaborative storytelling, character development, and exploration of a fictional world, rather than competition or winning.
