Backpacking Seminole State Forest ~11 Miles (Great for Beginners)

Details
This is a follow-up event to my Backpacking 101 & 201 events that are occurring on December 6th - 7th & January 16th - 18th.
Please Note: All interested folks will be put on an initial waitlist. Priority will be given to folks who have attended one of my previous 101 or 201 events.
All are welcome to attend and encouraged! However, since this trip is geared toward beginners, we will only be hiking ~2.4 miles on Friday to the campsite, ~4.9 miles to the campsite on Saturday, and then ~3.8 miles to our cars on Sunday for a total of ~11 miles between the three days.
The Details:
• We will be meeting at the Bear Pond trailhead at 5:00 P.M. Please be on time as we will be doing our pack shake-downs and then driving (with the least amount of cars) to the trailhead where we will be starting our hike.
• Please Note: There is a $26.69 camping fee + $2.00/day entrance fee to be pain online to the forest service either ahead of time or on the day of from your cell phone.
• Please Note: This is a backpacking event. Meaning that you will need to have all of the appropriate gear and the ability to carry everything that you need in your own pack. This includes all of your overnight gear and enough food and water for both Saturday and Sunday.
• We will be having a pack “shake-down” in the parking lot to make sure that everyone has the appropriate gear, food and water and that everyone’s pack is not too heavy.
