Three Lakes Maintenance Day 3

Three Lakes has deer hunting season for most of the fall so we will be doing a big maintenance event from January 10 thru January 12. We will be camping out at the Canoe Creek Hunt Camp site. People are welcome to camp out or come in during the day time. Both sections of Three Lakes have areas that will need to be mowed, lopped, and blazed.

Please wear long pants while you are doing maintenance. Bring your hard hat, glasses, and gloves or we have some you can use. If you are camping, please bring whatever camping gear you need to be comfortable. This will once more be an FTA state sponsored event. Food will be provided and FWC staff will be helping us.

Also, we need people who want to do the cooking, cleanup, and stay in the campsite during the day. This also helps with watching equipment, helping late arriving volunteers, communicating as people come and go, etc.

Due to hog hunts in Prairie Lakes we likely be camping at the Three Lakes hunt camp on Canoe Creek Road.
