Prairie Lakes Weekend Campout

Join us for a fun-filled and relaxing weekend campout filled with fresh air, good company, and outdoor adventure!

Whether you love hiking or just sitting by the fire, this weekend is all about making memories and enjoying nature together!

There will be scheduled activities on Friday night and throughout Saturday. If you are interested in leading an activity, please contact Michelle at 321-604-9472 or via email at ferromichelle@hotmail.com.

Details:

• We will be meeting at the Group Campsite (on Road 19) on February 20th after 5:00 p.m. in the Prairie Lakes Unit of the Three Lakes WMA (1231 Prairie Lakes Rd, Kenansville, FL). Make sure that you are entering the gate that specifically says "Prairie Lakes" off of Canoe Creek Road (HWY 523).
• Don't forget to stop at the Prairie Lakes Kiosk once you enter the WMA to pay $3.00/person or $6.00/car per day to the iron ranger (exact amount only or you will be making a donation).
• We will have access to only two picnic tables.
• We will also have access to a pitcher pump, but the water is not potable. Please bring your own water.
• There is a vault toilet near the campsite.

• Hiking
• Campfire (if people bring wood)
• Biking (only on the roads)
• Knot tying
• Stargazing
• Saturday Night Potluck (bring a dish to share)

What to Bring:

• Money to pay the iron ranger
• Tent & bedding
• Water, snacks and food
• Toilet paper (vault toilets are not well stocked)
• Camp chair
• Firewood, if you have any
• Day pack
• Bicycle
• Anything else you think that you might need!
