Seminole Ranch -Orlando Wetlands loop ( 5.5 miles )

Details:
We will be hiking a loop beginning st the Seminole Ranch trail head and around to the North Branch trail at Orlando Wetlands and onto the Cypress Boardwalk for viewing a Roseat Spoonbill rookery for a total easy-to-moderate hike of 6 miles.

Our hike will take place mostly under a canopied forest with very tall cabbage palm and live oak trees. The quiet, Seminole ranch trailhead is located across the street from Orlando Wetlands on Wheeler road. The address is:

To get there, go north on N. Fort Christmas road from S.R. 50 and take your next right just past Ft. Christmas onto Wheeler road. Go straight on Wheeler rd. past the main entrance to Orlando Wetlands. When you see the Orlando wetlands parking lot on your left, look right to the other side of the road and you will see a quiet Seminole Ranch trail head.

Don't forget to bring hydration, sunscreen, bug spray, and PPE.
