Savage Christmas (4.7 miles)

This is a 4.7 mile hike along some beautiful forested areas along the "new" Florida trail. We will start out from the East Orange District Park parking lot and proceed along a short stretch of field until we see ourselves in a dense forest consisting of very mature Oak trees. Then as we proceed towards NW Christmas road we will traverse a large area of Pine Flat Woods, ending up at the Savage Christmas trail head on NW Christmas road. This is an out and back hike. For those wanting more distance, one can experience the red, blue, or green hiking trails on their own after we complete our out and back.

Don't forget to bring hydration, sunscreen, bug spray, and PPE.
