Fremont Solstice Parade

Hola amigos,

The summer Solstice is the day having the longest period of daylight of the entire year, which means there is more time to party outdoors on that day


the people of Fremont know that pretty well.

Every year the "unique" Solstice Parade takes place in the artsy city of Fremont. The highlight of the parade is the naked biker ride, which by the way is accepting applications. To participate, you only need a bike in working conditions and maybe some body paint... six packs and good fitness are really appreciated by the audience :)

What a fun event to get together! we are meeting in front of the George and Dragon pub on N 36th ST around 11:30 AM. Bring a folding picnic chair to sit while waiting for the parade.
