Wednesday meetup ideas & Class ideas

Hello all:

I am writing to get ideas on the Wednesday meetup.  Recently we have been getting huge numbers, and it is great to see so many people interested in practicing their Spanish.  If anyone has any ideas on a restaurant location that can accommodate our group (with numbers approaching 30) please share. Other things to consider: the restaurant also has to be ok with the fact that the group usually stays put for  2 to 3 hours to talk.  My personal opinion is that the restaurant does not need to be Mexican/Hispanic.  The point is really to converse in Spanish, and any restaurant that meets our criteria and can accommodate us should be fine.  As far as criteria, I believe we are also looking for a place that has decent food and prices, and is not too loud.  A somewhat central location seems like it is ideal.  But obviously some locations will be better/worse depending on where you live/work. < On the "location note" another idea since the group is also getting so large might be to actually have 2 dinner meetups in different parts of town.  The benefit of this would be that members could attend the location closest to them/best for them.  The drawback would be that we wouldn't all get to see each other all the time.  But having two (or even three) dinner locations that are in different parts of town would also help to make our group more able to be accommodated at whatever restaurants we are attending.  (The dinners could all occur on Wednesdays in different parts of town, but we would obviously need a person to volunteer to host at each location.....or an alternative would be having dinners in different locations on various days of the week.  Again, I would say we would need to get some other people involved in "hosting" because I really cannot commit to doing various nights/locations a week! :) < For those of you who have opinions on this, if you could post your thoughts on the Message Board on the meetup site, that would be GREAT.  That way those who are interested can participate in the discussion and those who aren't don't need to be bothered by many email messages. http://www.meetup.com/spanish-891/messages/boards/ (or go to discussions tab, then message board when you log into the site < Second: CLASSES
It seems like there is some interest in doing Beginner Spanish classes.  This is also great news.  I think that several people have responded in recent days to an older posting, but my schedule is definitely more open right now that I could start offering classes.  Please email me directly ([address removed]) if interested.
