Re: [spanish-891] Spanish Classes: New Year's Resolution :)

Hi Jenny! My name is Shawanna Lewis. I am very interested in the class. I used to attend the Wednesday meet ups that had been hosted by Tim but life got hectic. I live in the Obetz area but I work for OSU. I am a struggling Spanish major who needs constant practice and my verb conjugation stinks! I would like to finish my degree but want to brush up before going back to school and would like to develop friendships with people who share my interest. I work 12 hour night shifts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights so a day during the week is preferable or Sunday evenings. Thank you for all you do in holding these classes/meetups together. I have been unable to attend but I keep up with what's going and follow the emails. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well as the rest of the group!

Life is too short to not to step outside your "box"

I wanted to extend warm wishes to all for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

As we are rolling into the new year,  I have gotten several messages indicating interest in starting up Spanish classes again.  (Great New Year's Resolution!!!)  I am still waiting to confirm my schedule with OSU and elsewhere, so please bare with me.  In the meantime, if you are interested in potentially taking Spanish classes, please contact me at [address removed] with "Spanish Classes" as the subject.

My availability is going to most likely be limited to:

Monday: afternoon or evening, or

Saturday:  morning or afternoon

Sunday:  Afternoon, or evening

1.  which of those days/times would work?  Try to be specific if you have particular times that do not work.

2.  What your Spanish level is?  Are you a true beginner?  Do you know how to conjugate verbs?  What types of past studies have you done?  (if you studied with me in the past, I know your level, so dont' worry about this).

Prices per lesson are also going to go up to $10 per class, with payment on a 4 week basis.  Still a really good deal if you compare to community center spanish offerings, private study, or college classes.

Hear's to a happy, healthy, and safe new year, and a wonderful 2013!

Jenny
