What to Expect:
We will meet for a 1.5-hour Spanglish gathering where we will exchange books, ideas, and reflections — in English, Spanish, or both.
This BookSwap is not a formal book club.
You don’t have to have read the entire book or come fully prepared.You can speak in English, Spanish, or mix both, whatever feels right for you.
The idea is simple: to share what the book gave you.A quote, a character, an idea, a feeling.Something that stayed with you — and that you’d like to pass on.

What to Bring

• A book you liked and want to talk about (to share — not to swap unless you want to swap that one)
• A book you are ready to let go (to swap and let someone else discover)

After the exchange, we will head to a nearby café or pub to keep chatting (optional — drinks not included).

This event is for you if
– You enjoy reading and sharing ideas– You are bilingual or learning a second language (English or Spanish)– You want to meet people through books, language, and culture– You are looking for a relaxed and meaningful cultural experience

Qué esperar: Nos reuniremos para un encuentro en Spanglish de 1.5 horas, donde intercambiaremos libros, ideas y reflexiones — en inglés, español o ambos.
Este BookSwap no es un club de lectura formal.No tienes que haber leído el libro entero ni venir completamente preparado.Puedes hablar en inglés, en español, o mezclar ambos, como sea más cómodo.

Qué traer

• Un libro que te haya gustado y del que quieras hablar (para compartir, no para intercambiar a menos que quieras intercambiar ese libro)
• Un libro que quieras intercambiar y no te importe dejar ir (para intercambiar y que alguien más lo descubra)

Después del intercambio, iremos a un café o pub cercano para seguir conversando (opcional — bebidas no incluidas).
