2016 Kick-Off

Happy New Year, everyone! I'm sorry for my long absence. I had a sick family member that needed help and I split my time between DC and out-of-state caring for them. Thankfully, they are healthy again and I am back in DC more often than not.

2015 was a long, but good year, and I'm excited for what 2016 has in store. I know it will be bigger and better, and usher in a slew of blessings for all of us! I'd like to do my part to manifest good things for myself and others, and start our lessons again. For anyone who would like to join me, I'll be hosting a Spanish lesson this Thursday, January 7, from 7PM-9PM.

I'd like to break down the session as follows: focus on Spanish I (7-7:45PM); focus on Spanish II (7:45-8:30PM); and an informal chat afterwards (8:30-9PM).

As always, I'll provide any materials that we will use. Also, our meetings have been in Alexandria thus far but this time I wanted to have a different location, towards a more central location in Northern Virginia. Future meeting locations will vary a bit, but this McLean location is simply a first-attempt and we'll see how it goes. Additionally, one of my resolutions this year is to finally sync this MeetUp group with my YouTube channel so that anyone at anytime can access the general gist of our lessons, the materials used, and any other related content. Until I get this whole thing running like a well-oiled machine, please join me in person. And, I plan to hold several lessons per month, so please join me for what you can... and don't sweat it if you can't make it to a particular session. This group will be about fun and getting together, and absolutely nothing stressful.
