About us
I would like to start a club for a group of English speakers to get together and practice our Spanish. I used to speak pretty good 20Spanish years ago, but I am out of practice.
I was thinking we could either meet at restaurants or for pot lucks at people's houses and try to use only Spanish for the whole night. maybe get together once or twice per week. I only recently moved to the area so this seems like a good way to make friends and develop a valuable skill at the same time.
It would be great if we could get some Native Spanish speakers to help, but we could probably struggle through with google translate.
I am a certified teacher with a Master's in Teaching. I have taught English for years, but my Spanish is not great, I'd like to fix that. I am located in Riviera Beach, but depending on who else is interested, I am open to meeting anywhere from West Palm Beach to Jupiter.
