About
This meetup is for people that are looking for a fun inclusive place to practice their language skills and add a little extra dialogue in order to improve their Spanish. We will be meeting on the 4th Tuesday of every month to play games and exchange conversation, all in Spanish. All levels are welcome! At the start of each meetup we will go over some general helpful vocabulary for the days theme. Each meet up will have a specific theme to encourage fun dialogue exchange and games that promote a fun flow to get people speaking!
What to expect

• Every meetup will start with introductions, your name, why you are learning Spanish, how much experience you have, a fun fact about yourself and anything else you would like to share. Introductions will be done first in Spanish then in English.
• We will start every meetup off with a quick review of helpful vocabulary that will be related to the theme of the day. Your host will bring an initial list and then as a group we will spend 5-10 minutes adding and sharing any other vocabulary that might be helpful
• Next we will either break into groups to spend some time warming up with some ice breakers
• Finally we will play a game/s that encourage dialogue

About your host
Your host is high beginner / low intermediate level who stumbles over their words, makes up new words on the spot and is constantly learning and trying to speak better. I am by no means an expert or at all qualified to teach anyone Spanish but I firmly believe in the power of community to help guide and help each other grow.

meet up will be at Slow Pour coffee in the Sellwood neighborhood. I have us slated for 6:30-9pm as this is a new group and I'm not entirely sure what to expect. I'll try to make a little sign to put on the table for our meetup.
