Wednesday at 6:30 PM in room 306 in the Psych building (our regular location), where our speakers will be Dr. Willoughby Britton and Matthew Sacchet of Brown University. Willoughby is a UA alumna and director of BrittonLab, a contemplative neuroscience laboratory at Brown, and she will be presenting findings from her lab. Matt is an undergraduate at Brown and a research asssitant in BrittonLab, and he is majoring in Contemplative Studies, a Brown University major that is similar to AMRIG in its focus on combining first-person meditative practices and third-person science. Matt will be presenting to our group about the specifics of the Contemplative Studies Initiative.
