Come hang with us at the Belle Isle Aquarium, and Conservatory tucked inside Belle Isle State Park. The park’s free with your Recreation Passport or sticker on your license plate—or you can grab a daily pass if you need one.
And can we just pause for a second? The oldest aquarium in the United States. That’s such a cool flex. There’s something special about wandering through a place that’s been around that long, peeking at fish and pretending you know their personalities.

Located near the Aquarium is the Conservatory with fabulous plants and flowers. You might choose to do both.

At 4.30 PM we will go to the picnic area in walking distance. Bring your food, your drink, your comfy lawn chair. We’ll just settle in, breathe a little, and let the day unfold. No pressure, no agenda beyond enjoying each other’s company.
