Explore the Detroit Riverwalk and Dequindre Cut by Bike!

Let's explore the beautiful Detroit Riverwalk! This will be a leisurely paced bike ride totaing 10-12 miles, with stops to enjoy the scenery.
From the Dequindre Cut parking lot at (10:30 am), we will bike 2 miles down the Dequindre Cut Greenway path, to the Wheelhouse Detroit (restrooms and water fill station available).
Then, from the Carousel area behind Wheelhouse Detroit, we will head to Hart Plaza, passing the Renaissance Center, and visit the Dodge Fountain, the MLK Sculpture, the Abraham Lincoln Sculpture, and the monument honoring Joe Louis.
We will then go the other direction to visit the Milliken State Park Lighthouse (bathrooms available), pass the Aretha Franklin Amphitheater, stop by the Atwater Beach Playground, have lunch/ beverages at Andrews on the Corner Bar (bring a bike lock to attach to the fence, see photo), check out the historical Lighthouse Depot, then head back along the Riverwalk.
This bike tour will be on paved paths, and we will make stops to enjoy the sights.
