After enjoying a summer off, I am again delighted to spin things back up with The SPDY Meetup: A Toronto Web Performance Event.

🗣️ The RUM Archive by Nic Jansma (Akamai)
Launched in the fall of 2022, the RUM Archive is a publicly available and queryable dataset of Real User Monitoring (RUM) page loads and third-party resource fetches. It was inspired by the Wayback Machine as well as the HTTP Archive with the aim to make RUM data freely available for researchers to analyze trends in market share and performance analytics. Nic will introduce the RUM Archive, run through data points to share the importance of RUM data, as well as more recent noteworthy updates and features around the dataset .

🗣️ What's New in Chrome DevTools by Annie Sullivan (Google)
The Chrome DevTools team has made significant improvements as part of a multi-year effort to make DevTools even easier and more capable for optimizing Core Web Vitals. Any Sullivan will discuss some of these updates for us, including a completely redesigned Performance panel landing page.
