In this talk, Kelly Rondinelli will bring us up to speed on key developments in the climate, greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability reporting space; notably, the demise of the SEC climate-disclosure rule, the shift to regulation to the state level, and other broad developments with respect to greenhouse gas emissions.

Kelly Rondinelli is a Senior Associate of Environmental & Natural Resources and Governance & Sustainability at Vinson & Elkins. Kelly's practice focuses on navigating the energy transition, supporting clients in a broad range of environmental transactional matters, including low-carbon ventures, and counseling financial institutions, private equity firms, and public and private company clients on environmental liabilities, risk-management, and sustainable financing requirements, such as the Equator Principles.

Kelly joined Vinson & Elkins in 2020 after serving as Law Clerk to the Honorable John F. Anderson for the Eastern District of Virginia. Kelly holds a Doctor of Law (JD, Law) cum laude from William and Mary Law School and Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Oxford, Keble College (United Kingdom) and a M.A. and B.A. from Kings College London and the University of Birmingham with Honors (U.K.)
