The goal of Speak-Easy Spanish is to create a vibrant, inclusive space where learners can explore the Spanish language in real-life and meaningful ways—beyond grammar books and classroom drills. We focus on helping members build confidence in conversation, deepen cultural understanding, and connect with others through shared experiences rooted in the richness of the Spanish-speaking world.
Types of events we offer:
Conversational Meetups: Informal gatherings at cafes, parks, or cozy venues where members can practice Spanish at all levels through guided themes and spontaneous chats.
Cultural Nights: Events focused on Latin American or Spanish traditions—music, dance, holidays, history, and more.
Cooking Experiences: Interactive sessions where participants cook and taste dishes from Spanish-speaking countries, learning language and cultural context along the way.
Movie & Discussion: Screenings of Spanish-language films followed by guided conversation in Spanish.
Workshops & Mini-Classes: Fun, topic-based lessons—like travel, shopping, idiomatic expressions, or regional differences—paired with cultural insights.
