Why are more people choosing to be single?
Details
Across many societies, more people are living alone or remaining single for longer.
But what is really behind this shift?
Is it becoming harder to find meaningful relationships, or are we simply becoming more comfortable with being alone?
Are our expectations of love and partnership changing? And how much are dating apps, social media, financial pressures, independence and changing gender roles influencing the way we connect?
In this thought-provoking conversation, we’ll explore the psychological and social factors behind the rise of singlehood and what this shift might tell us about love, intimacy and relationships today.
We’ll question some of the assumptions we have about being single and being in a relationship, share different perspectives, and explore what these changes might mean for the future of connection.
There won’t be one simple answer. Just an open conversation, a chance to reflect, and an opportunity to see relationships from a different perspective.
