French Galette des Rois at Queen's Park

You probably heard or you may already know the French tradition called Galette des Rois? It is a very iconic cake in France for Epiphany and it is a huge tradition there!!!

It is now coming to Queen's Park !!!!!

It is the first time we organise a Galette des rois in Queen's Park with my French Meet Up. It is usually in central London. This year, I am organising a Galette des rois party in the Cafe in the park (Queen's Park) on Wednesday 8th January at 10 am. This the first meeting of our French group in Queen's Park for 2025.

We have been meeting every Wednesday at 10 am since August 2020 !!!

It is time for you to join our local and friendly group to practise your French skills and the Galette des rois is a nice opportunity to come and see !!!

We will talk a bit about this tradition, we will eat a piece of cake, we will experience the full tradition (surprise) and we will chat all in French. It is a French conversation session as well.

Be aware that for this party, there is a special price (compare to usual) as you will get a piece of cake + a hot or soft drink on top of the 90 minute French conversation session.

Price is £18 per attendee.
Early birds £13 (till Saturday 4th January).

It includes a piece of pudding (the French galette des rois with frangipane inside), a soft drink or a hot drink, organisation and Meet Up fees if you pay through Meet Up.

In situ, you will pay for the extras you may order.

If any allergy, please contact me. Unfortunately, the galette des rois is not allergy free.
