"Fondue Party" in French

Have you ever tried a "fondue savoyarde"? A typical dish originaly from Switzerland that is very popular when you are in the Alps during Winter.

I am sure you would fancy our "Fondue Party" in our very special French Cheese Shop in London, "Cheezelo".

Fondue is a melted cheese and wine dish served in a communal pot (caquelon or fondue pot) over a portable stove (réchaud) heated with a candle or spirit lamp, and eaten by dipping bread, and possibly potatoes, vegetables into the cheese using long-stemmed forks.

It is just delicious and very friendly. This meal is totally appropriate - even recommended - with gloomy and cold weather :-)

We will be meeting at "Cheezelo" (which is a pun and means "chez Eleonore", name of the lovely boss, a nice young lady from Normandy). It is a very little shop which exudes French traditions, food, cheese, wine, charcuterie and other local products. You will love it, a tiny bit of France in London.

The event will totally occur in French run by a French native tutor. Then that will be a great opportunity to speak French in a very friendly French atmosphere. If we play a full house, we will be the only customers to the place for the evening.

The dinner will be made of this unique meal which is quite filling.

Please note that there is a charge of £40 (+ Meet Up fees)
Early birds at £35 till Friday 28th February (a week before)

It includes:
- a portion of fondue (melted cheese with wine, bread to dip, some potatoes, vegetables, gherkins and a bit of charcuterie - it may be difficult to accommodate strict diets or allergy requests - check with me if any diet)

Drinks are not included.

In situ, you will only pay for your drinks and for any extras you may order.

ALLERGIES

Be aware that all the participants will be dipping their bread (gluten) and potataoes in the same pot. The food is not vegetarian as there is some animal rennet in the composition. Last, the cheese is melted with wine (so the meal contains alcohol)
