Barbecue and public speaking with the Bossuet Gaveliers Toastmasters

If you have not yet heard about www.toastmasters.org - have a look! Members have been honing their public speaking skills with a pinch of leadership by the Toastmasters's recipe for the past hundred years.

We the Bossuet Gaveliers are the most experienced club in Europe, and as such enjoy sharing a meal and hearing great speeches. Guests are welcome at our regular meetings, on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, and also at the special events we organize.

Whether you are a toastmaster or a guest, you will certainly enjoy our Bossuet Gaveliers barbecue on the 8th of June!

This event combines a barbecue with an open-air Bossuet Gaveliers toastmaster meeting. A great opportunity to give a speech in the open air. It will take place at Op der Drëps, a chalet and picnic area in a beautiful location, located next to the Kehlbach river in a forested area.
This is a great opportunity to socialise with other toastmasters in a relaxed and informal setting. The usual grilled barbecue staples will be provided as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There will also be vegetarian options available. Please let us know if you have any particular dietary requirements.
The event is open to non-members, so feel free to invite your significant other, your friends, or toastmasters from other clubs. The fee is the same as for a regular Bossuet meeting, 31.50 EUR. This includes all food and drinks.
We meet at the location at 12 p.m for drinks and socialisation. The meeting then begins with the schedules speeches at 1pm. At 2pm we fire up the barbecue and take a couple of hours to eat, drink, and enjoy each other’s company. The evaluation section of the meeting commences after the barbecue with the event concluding around 6pm.
There is ample parking at the venue, or a couple of minutes’ walk away at Thillsmillen. There are toilets on site.
