Details
If you have not yet heard about www.toastmasters.org - have a look! Members have been honing their public speaking skills with a pinch of leadership by the Toastmasters' recipe for the past hundred years... and a half!
We the Bossuet Gaveliers are the most experienced club in Europe, and will have our next scheduled meeting on Wednesday the 9th of April 2025, starting at 19h30 (socializing already from 7 PM)... at a new venue, as we continue to explore Luxembourg to find a more permanent "home".
This time we'll be at Café des Sports in Lorentzweiler - 91 route du Luxembourg, L-7373 Lorentzweiler - easily reachable by car (of course), but also by train or even bus.
Please let us know whether you will be attending or not. You may wish to register directly via our website: https://tmclub.eu/view_meeting.php?c=314&show=next ... for a sparkling meeting, with a toast, table topics, three prepared speeches and evaluations, charmingly presented by overseas master of ceremonies and celebrated poet Niall A. Finn.
It will be a hybrid meeting, with the usual ZOOM.us access codes. For those joining online, please foresee a 20 minute- break (usually from 8 PM) for the main course.
For those coming to the restaurant, we have a selection of scrumptious main courses and delicious desserts (plus water and wine, for a total - lower - price of 30 euro), so we'll ask you to indicate your menu choices via this form https://forms.gle/Uo6a9xdfNxigraXy8 as soon as possible (in any case by 10 AM on the Wednesday of our meeting):
Main course:
Option 1 - Bifana Gourmande = Bifana (beef), ham, cheese and egg - served with crispy fries and a small salad
Option 2 - Vegetarian Salad = fresh salad, cheese and egg - served with fries
Dessert :
