What we’re about
Welcome to Spectrum Families of Bradenton–Sarasota, a supportive community created for parents of young children on the autism spectrum to connect, share, and grow together.
Our mission is to provide judgment-free, family-friendly spaces where children can explore sensory-friendly activities and parents can relax, recharge, and connect with others who truly understand the journey.
We’ll host a variety of meetups, including: 🌈 Sensory-friendly park playdates
☕ Parent coffee chats and support mornings
🏖️ Family beach days and picnic gatherings
🎨 Creative art and sensory play activities
💬 Resource and connection nights for parents
Whether you’re newly navigating an autism diagnosis or have years of experience, this is a place to build friendships, share ideas, and create joyful moments with your family.
This group is exclusively for parents and caregivers of children on the autism spectrum.
We celebrate every child’s individuality and every parent’s strength.
Our Values
💙 Acceptance: Every child and family is unique — we embrace all differences.
🤝 Connection: This is a space for parents to find community, understanding, and friendship.
🌿 Balance: Our events aim to support both the child’s sensory needs and the parent’s well-being.
🧸 Play: Kids learn best through play — and parents need fun too!
